About the Event

Started as a popular sellout fixture at Birmingham Hippodrome pre-Covid, then at Warwick Arts Centre last year, B'Opera First Songs with Zoë are moving to St George's Edgbaston.

Zoë is a professional singer and trained educator in Early Childhood Music through the CME:EC (Certificate of Music Education: Early Childhood)

She spent 8 years teaching in the Junior Department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, and now lives and works in Birmingham where she's a mother to two girls. B'Opera are regular Visiting Artists at Birmingham Children's Hospital, and tour their children's operas widely. Zoë is regularly invited to speak about B'Opera's work both locally and nationally. Her recent Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant saw the beginning of MotherVoice, a creative group for mothers.
